  via Lynn press release   BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University's men's lacrosse team will enter the 2019 campaign with a national ranking to its name, coming in at No. 19 on the Nike/US Lacrosse Division II Men's Preseason Top-20 Poll. The Fighting Knights lacrosse squad posted a 9-6 overall record in 2018 with a 2-5 mark in Sunshine State Conference play, matching the 2016 campaign for the most-ever wins in a season. The Blue and White started off the year on a tear, going 7-1 through nonconference play. Their 7-1 mark was their best-ever start to a season which included a program-record six-game winning streak.   via Lynn press release   BOCA RATON, Fla. – Dryden Brous of the Lynn University men's lacrosse team has recently been tabbed a Second Team Preseason All-American, released by Inside Lacrosse and published in the Face-Off Yearbook. The preseason accolade is the first for any player in program history. Defending champion Merrimack has three first-team All-Americans —two at attack— and has five overall across the first, second and third teams. The lists show the growing presence of DII, with 10 different programs represented on the first team. The reigning DII Players of the Year both return in the Warriors' Charlie Bertrand and Le Moyne's Dan Entenmann.   via Lynn press release   Vancouver, B.C. – Austin Jerhoff, a 2017 alum of Lynn University and a four-year member on the Fighting Knights men's lacrosse team, has recently signed a professional box lacrosse contract with the Vancouver Stealth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Jerhoff is the first-ever player from the Lynn lacrosse program to sign a professional contract. "Lynn helped me grow so much as a person, balancing both being a student and an NCAA athlete," said Jerhoff. "The Lynn lacrosse team holds such a big part of my heart and was an amazing four-year journey." Jerhoff signed with the Stealth on August 1, 2018.   via Lynn press release   BOCA RATON, Florida – Lynn University Director of Athletics Devin Crosby today announced the addition of women's lacrosse as the school's 19thNCAA Division II athletic program.  This is the eighth sport added since 2012 and fourth in the 2017-18 academic year, bringing the Fighting Knights to nine men's and 10 women's NCAA sponsored varsity sports.
