It’s not unheard of these days, but it’s not the norm, either. Then again, Caitlyn isn’t a normal lacrosse player, even by All-American standards. She captained the American Heritage-Delray high school program as a seventh grader. In eighth grade, she became the first girls' lacrosse player to put up 100 points and 100 assists in a single season, according to the National Federation of State High School Associations record books.   Ransom Everglades graduate Erin Bakes was named the MVP for the for the 2018 Girls Under Armour All Star Game over the weekend!  This game only invites 44 seniors from around the country, so just being named to the game is pretty rare for a Florida participant, but to win the MVP after scoring the OT goal is something else!  A great achievement for a young lady that was not granted All American status locally . . .
