The Triple Crown Sports 16th Annual Deep South Great Pumpkin Shootout Powered by Epoch concluded with over 50 Boys and Girls teams competing in multiple divisions over the weekend of October 21-22. Games were played throughout the weekend at the Indian Trails Sports Complex in Beautiful Palm Coast, Florida. In addition, Title Sponsors Deep South Lacrosse and Epoch Lacrosse hosted a Skills Clinic with Epoch athletes and MLL Players Matt Rambo and Niko Amato for players of all ages to learn from players at the highest level of lacrosse.   On 10/24/18, Ryan Burton and his Stealth Lacrosse program hosted Delray Lacrosse & Leadership for a Halloween Lax Night at the Terramar Fields in Parkland. The two programs scrimmaged, candy was exchanged & a fun night was had by all. The start of the school year saw the Delray Lacrosse & Leadership program expand from Pine Grove Elementary to also include Carver Middle School.   (South Florida) The South Florida Leatherbacks have announced the tryouts for their Fall and Summer teams. This year, the Leatherbacks will be holding tryouts for teams at the U8, U10, U12, and U14 levels. Tryouts for the U8 and U10 teams will be held on Sunday, August 26th and will run from 1:30p to 3:30pm. Tryouts for the U12 and U14 teams will also take place on Sunday, August 26th and will run from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. The South Florida Leatherbacks are a youth club lacrosse program bringing experienced and qualified coaches to train with and develop players into skilled athletes.   via press release   TAMPA BAY, Fla. — 3d Lacrosse has announced the formation of 3d Florida to provide the Tampa Bay Area with the nation’s most advanced lacrosse training and player development opportunities. 3d Florida will launch in the late summer with the 3d Florida Tampa Training Series to be held on four Sundays: August 26, Sept. 9, 16 and 23. The training will be broken into two groups: 5th grade to 8th grade boys and high school-age players. 3d Florida will be led by Mike Ryder, who has deep roots in the region as an experienced coach at the scholastic and collegiate levels.
